IIiBF Eminent Scholars


IIiBF Eminent Scholars is established on 1st August 2021 under the idea of Dean of IIiBF, Prof. Dr. Rusni Hassan aims to recognize the Institute members of extraordinary and unusual merit as well as service to the University.

Eminent scholars or professional of international standing whose views and opinions are often being referred and Indispensable in their own universities.

With the appointment, the Institute and IIUM generally will be able to directly benefit from the extensive experience with the key persons in the Islamic Banking and Finance industry. 

Not only this appointment will boost up the image of IIiBF being the leading research institute in Islamic Banking and Finance, but also enhance our capacity and networking opportunities with the international industry. Having a scholar of such a stature will also attract potential  postgraduate students to the Institute.


JOB DESCRIPTION

a)   To assist the Institute in establishing collaborative networking and linkages with prominent international/local organizations or institutions including academic exchange or linkage with the external parties.

b)  To be the ambassador and carry positive image of the Institute at international/local/ university level. 

c)   To deliver a talk to the staff and students on related or current issues of Islamic Banking and Finance.

d)    To assist the Institute and its members in terms of interaction of professionals in teaching & curriculum development as well as provides 1st hand knowledge to enhance the image of Institute due to their influence & contacts in private sector.

e)     To assist the Institute to materialize the sponsorship and funding for IIiBF’s agenda.
