Research area: cornea, ocular surface, corneal morphology, corneal wound healing, irregular cornea, pterygium, artificial tears, tear film.



Mohd Radzi Hilmi is an Associate Professor of Optometry and has been at International Islamic University Malaysia since 2017. His research focus on exploring mechanism of ocular surface disorders particularly dry eye and pterygium, corneal wound healing development and testing of ophthalmic instrumentation for the diagnosis and management of anterior eye disease.
Dr Radzi also has an interest in anterior eye imaging. His research has been funded or supported by Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Malaysia, Alcon, Allergan, Tomey and other industrial collaborators. He has published more than 30 full peer-reviewed papers, more than 10 reviewed conference abstracts and has filed one patent applications and 10 copyrights. He is also a regular reviewer for a range of journals, belongs to the international editorial board of journal based in United States.
