Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Hanafi Ani obtained the Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy), Master of Engineering (Metals and Ceramics) and Doctor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
He has served as a faculty member at the Department of Manufacturing and Materials, Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM since 2003. He is actively involved in research on advanced materials, securing research grants, and has authored and co-authored more than 120 technical papers in refereed journals.
