Expert Profile


Dr. Mazlina Mansor is an Associate Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design, IIUM. She has an academic background in Environmental Design (University of Tasmania, Australia), Environmental Management (University Kebangsaan Malaysia) and Landscape Architecture (University of Technology Malaysia).
The areas of her research interests include urban public space, urban green infrastructure, human ecology, environment-behaviour studies and cultural landscape and heritage. Her research covers the investigation of human perceptions, behaviours and their relationships with urban natural places, experiential landscape, attachment to place, and meaning of space and place. The academic subjects that she teaches include Community Design Studio, Urban Design and Introduction to Landscape Architecture.
