OFFICE FOR STRATEGY AND INSTITUTIONAL CHANGE

a) Data Coordination & Submission

To meet the internal and external data requirements, OSIC coordinates with all data owners to prepare all relevant data. Led by Sr. Abazazilah Mohd Abbas and assisted by Dr. Noor Suzilawati Rabe, all internal data requirements such as Flagship, SDG and others are prepared for monitoring and institutional reporting purposes. This unit also monitor all requests from external data parties on the requirements such as MyMohes, SETARA and others.

b) Strategic Rubric for IT Systems & Application

This is on-going project of OSIC in collaboration with the ITD Business Intelligence Unit are to develop a holistic strategic rubric for a more reliable assessment of the IT systems and applications for the University. This strategic rubric criteria assessment will assist the University in strategically assess and rank IT systems as well provide more reliable assessment to gauge the impact and effectiveness of the systems. 

c) IT Governance Together with ITD Management, OSIC has drafted IIUM ICT GUIDELINES, that aims to provide guidelines for data request and distribution for the University. The guidelines will contain a strategic policy and procedure for data management and submission requested by external parties and authorities. This is also on-going project waiting for review and approval from the Office of the Legal Adviser (OLA).
