Expert Profile
Mohd Rafaei bin Mohd Basri obtained his BSc. In Architectural Studies (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia. Upon completion of his Bachelor’s degree, he joined the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design, Centre for Foundation Studies, IIUM in June 2006.
He was appointed as an Academic Advisor from 2011 to 2013, an advisory position responsible in advising students on academic matters, study plan and personal development. He was later appointed as the Head, Department of Architecture and Environmental Design in October 2014.
He has actively participated in seminars and workshops concerning architecture, heritage and education. He is currently pursuing his Master In Built Environment on vernacular masjid architecture at the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design, IIUM.
