Asst. Prof. Dr. Siti Roshaidai Binti Mohd Arifin


Expertise: My expertise includes qualitative studies, midwifery, critical realism and framework analysis.

Research Interest: I have an interest in perinatal mental health, maternal mental health, and improving postnatal care.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sanisah binti Saidi


Expertise: My expertise is in the management of long-term conditions particularly type 2 diabetes. I am also capable of doing qualitative research (case study, interview, participant observation, content analysis and framework analysis)

Research Interest: I have an interest in chronic disease management, patient-centred care, patient empowerment and self-care provision.

Expertise: Musculoskeletal health, promotion of exercise, falls prevention, primary care, mixed-methods approach, health-related intervention trial

Research Interest: His areas of interest are rehabilitative care, musculoskeletal health throughout the life-course, promotion of healthy ageing, prevention of falls, orthopedics and traumatology nursing.

Expertise: Mental health nursing, religiosity in mental health, Spirituality and spiritual capital of people with bipolar disorder, Bourdieu’s Symbolic capital, qualitative grounded theory methodology, thematic analysis, quantitative methods, basic and intermediate quantitative analysis using SPSS.

Research interest: Spiritual distress, emotional and spiritual intelligence, psychosocial well-being, Bourdieu’s trinity concept of habitus, capital and field, and social theories from Pierre Bourdieu such as social and cultural capital related to healthcare context.
