Expert Profile
Dr Kumeran graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Australia and worked as a Dental Surgeon under the Ministry of Health for many years, before joining the International Islamic University Malaysia as a trainee lecturer. He completed his Master of Orthodontics in University Malaya, and is currently serving as a lecturer and clinical specialist in the Department of Orthodontics, Kulliyyah of Dentistry. He has also completed his Membership of Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) and Member of Orthodontics (MOrth) with the Royal College of Surgeons (England). His current interests are in teaching and clinical research, especially in the field of Cleft Lip and Palate management, Obstructive Sleep Apnea and alternative medicine.
