Expert Profile


Before joining the International Islamic University Malaysia as an academician in February 2011, he worked as an executive at Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd and as a junior town planner at DPZ Asia Sdn Bhd. In 2022, he received his Ph.D. in Built Environment for his thesis, "Modeling the Effect of Land Use Characteristics and Pedestrian Infrastructure Designs on Urban Rail Ridership in Kuala Lumpur." His teaching experience spans multiple disciplines, including environmental design, tourism planning, the built environment, economics, statistics, research, and critical thinking. He is a member of the Transportation Science Society Malaysia (TSSM), Lembaga Perancang Bandar Malaysia, and Pertubuhan Profesional Tanah Malaysia, and regularly contributes articles, conferences, publications, and monographs.
