Expert Profile
Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Norhashimah binti Mohd Shaffiar, a graduate of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuala Lumpur, started her career as an assistant lecturer at the IIUM in 2002 and is currently an Assoc. Professor in Manufacturing & Materials Engineering Department.
She obtained the Bachelor of Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering), Master of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) and Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from University Technology Malaysia (UTM). Her areas of expertise and interests are in FEA, Damage Models, Fatigue Failure, Reliability of Microelectronic Components, Characterization of Advanced Materials, Mechanics of Composites and Nanocomposite.
She obtained the Bachelor of Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering), Master of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) and Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from University Technology Malaysia (UTM).
