CENTRE FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)

IIUM INSAN SEJAHTERA encapsulates four elements (IIUM Vision & Mission (7 Mission Statements), FPK, MAS, SDG) with the overall aim of humanising education and developing intellectuals, professionals and scholars of distinction by integrating quality of faith (iman), knowledge (‘ilm) and good character (akhlaq) to serve as agents of comprehensive and balanced progress for sustainable development of Malaysia, the Muslim Ummah and the global population.

The main aim of the workshop is to introduce the IIUM concept of INSAN SEJAHTERA to academic and administrative staff in Gombak, Kuantan and Pagoh campus for the incorporation of the concept into their daily tasks and to instil it into the students of IIUM.

The specific outcomes of this workshop will be to enable participants:

1. to demonstrate an understanding of IIUM Vision & Mission (7 Mission Statements), FPK, MS, SDG through the ability to explain each components and the interconnectedness/ synergy among the components and their contribution to the development of IIUM Insan Sejahtera (‘Ilm علم)

2. to analyse selected contemporary cases and discuss possible solutions by integrating the four components (‘Amal عمل)

3. to apply the four components into teaching & learning, research and CE (Hal  حال). 

4. to elaborate and apply the concept of INSAN SEJAHTERA to IIUM students.
