Dear All IIUM Community,

PERFORMING DAILY AND FRIDAY CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER STARTING ON 18th DECEMBER 2020 AT IIUM SHAS MOSQUE GOMBAK CAMPUS

May this information reach you while you are in the best of Iman and health by the Grace of Allah Subhāna-hu wa Tacālā.

Please be informed that the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque, CENTRIS, Gombak Campus would like to inform all members of IIUM Community that Pejabat Agama Islam Daerah Gombak (PAID) has given a permission for us to resume our Daily and Friday congregational prayer starting from 18th December 2020. Total Jamaah for Daily Prayer is capped at 40 while for Friday Prayer is 125 Jamaah only. It will be a First Come First Served basis.

Please be mindful that the time for ENTERING the Mosque is between 12.20 pm - 13.00 pm. only.

All Jamaah have to adhere to the following S.O.P :~


1.      GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1) It is mandatory to all worshippers to wear face mask, bring your own sajadah (standard size) and to apply physical distancing. Physical space between Jamaah (at least one or two meters apart) shall be implemented.

1.2) The Door and Registration Counter for daily congregational prayer is opened 30 minutes before the adhān and would be closed during the Iqāmah.

1.3) Only main entrance facing Muhammad Abdul Rauf (MAR) building will be opened for entrance/exit at every prayer time.          

1.4) Only main prayer hall at level 2 will be used for congregational prayer.

1.5) Handshake is not encouraged, if possible to be avoided.

1.6) All Jamaah are required to install MySejahtera and MyTrace applications into their mobile devices.

1.7) All Jamaah must adhere to the S.O.P on COVID19 to reduce the risks of transmission of COVID19.

 

2.      PROCEDURE OF ENTERING THE MOSQUE

2.1) All Jamaah shall be screened and must undergo body temperature check at the predefined entrance every time before entering the mosque.

2.2) All Jamaah must bring their own Handphone to record their attendance through QR Code and use hand sanitizer provided at the entrance area.

2.3) Those who are sick, showing symptoms of illness, or have chronic diseases or temperature higher than 37.5 Celsius will not be allowed to enter the mosque.

2.4) All Jamaah present must perform ablution at their place. Toilets and ablution areas will not be open to the public.

 

3.      PROCEDURE INSIDE MOSQUE

3.1) Jamaah are only allowed to occupy the designated area.

3.2) Gathering inside and outside of the mosque after prayers is not allowed.

3.3) Jamaah are required to leave the mosque immediately after prayer session.

 

4.      WHEN LEAVING THE MOSQUE

(please refer to guideline no 1.5 & 3.2)


Failure to abide by the S.O.P might result in the denial of entrance. 

All worshippers (Jamaah) must register their name at the counter, use hand sanitizer and undergo body temperature screening at the entrance area every time before entering the mosque.
