The Office of Corporate Communication is responsible for representing and promoting IIUM to both the media and public, within and outside of the University. The Office is also involved in all aspects of dissemination of information regarding the activities of IIUM, ranging from press releases to responding to news and stories on the University. Additionally, the Corporate Communication also deals with enquiries from the media from the national press to overseas media. These can range from requests for policy statements, acting as spokespersons for media interviews (including radio and television), handling enquiries regarding activities of the IIUM community, supplying photographic materials, ad hoc media events, or launches or press conferences. The Corporate Communication is also the first point of call for the media in a crisis situation. |

The Office of Corporate Strategy & Quality Assurance (CSQA), IIUM was established on 1 June 2008, and plays an important role in ensuring that the Strategic Plan of the University is implemented, and that Quality Assurance is carried out in a systematic and efficient way in line with the University's mission. The Office is also responsible for developing strategies so as to promote good practices of quality assurance and quality enhancement in the University. The Office of CSQA has been established by the merging of two offices, namely; the Office of Planning Unit and the Office of Quality assurance Unit. The Office of Corporate Strategy & Quality Assurance (CSQA) is been divided into 3 units; namely Quality Assurance & Administration, Corporate Strategy & Planning, and Corporate Performance Management & Reporting. |

Internal Audit objectives are to ensure that the directives, policies, and procedures of the University are carried out in accordance with the University's rules and regulations and good management practices, as well as to assist all levels of administration in the effective performance of their responsibilities and the efficient achievement of their objectives. The Office of the Campus Director was established as an administration Centre in 2005. The office is managed by a Campus Director and a Director (Administration). The primarily function of the office is to manage and consolidate the administration of all the kulliyyahs, student bodies and other components of the campus. Without having to ‘reinvent the wheels’, the office fast-tracked by establishing and managing the Administrative departments and units mirroring the Gombak Campus. There are 11 departments and units attached directly under OCD custody which are:

Centre for Islamization (CENTRIS)

IIUM Centre for Islamisation or CENTRIS was established in May 2012 to spearhead the Islamisation mission of the University and systematize its various efforts especially with regard to Islamisation of human knowledge (IOHK). The Distinguished Prof. Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Kamal Hassan was appointed the Chairman of the Centre together with a Senior Assistant Director, on 1st July 2012. Two months later i.e. on the 1st September 2012, the first Director of the Centre was appointed.
