IIUM has launched Emergency Remote Teaching and Learning (ERTL) during the pandemic of COVID-19, which is an online learning method for the students. It comes to our concern that there are students who are in underprivileged category and in need of support in terms of facilities to continue the online learning such as laptop, internet access and et cetera. This initiative serves the purpose to open a donation drive in order to provide (via one-off full unit or subsidized) laptops to needy students in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), considering Emergency Remote Learning and Teaching (ERTL) is the way forward to continue with academic activities at this university. 

Office of the Deputy Rector (Student Development and Community Engagement) in collaboration with Student Affairs and Development Division, IIUM Endowment Fund, Information Technology Division and IIUM Student Union generated a donation drive for that purpose.
