The Centre for Credited Leadership and Virtues (CLAV) aims to enhance the spritual and leadership knowledge of IIUM students as a way to uphold the university's mission to produce a well-rounded graduate.  Every semester, CLAV offers more than 100 credited co-curricular courses comprises of the Mainstream, Niche and Uniform/Government Structured Programmes ranging from a spiritual course like Fard 'Ayn to an outdoor sport like Tennis.

The undergraduate students are expected to fulfill 3-credit hour of CLAV courses according to their Study Plan in order to complete the university's graduation requirement.  The student's commitment and participation in co-curricular activities are acknowledged and their performance is assessed by well-experienced Lecturer/Trainer/Instructor/Facilitator (LTIF) appointed by the Director and the CLAV team.
