Dr. Erwin Sulaeman, started his career as a part timer in PT. Atalanta Arupadhatu, an architect and civil engineering consultant firm where he performed soil mechanics tests in many locations in Indonesia and designed the foundations of a number of buildings by considering the geotechnical aspect of the structure. After obtaining his BSc, he worked at PTDI (PT Dirgantara Indonesia, formerly known as IPTN, an Indonesian aircraft industry) as a junior engineer in aeroelastic sub-division where his first assignment was to analyze the whirl flutter of CN235 aircraft.
