Announcements

IIUM would like to congratulate the Malay Debate Teams for their achievements at the Pertandingan Debat Terbuka Ilmu Khas (DeTIK) 2018 organised by IPG Kampus Ilmu Khas. The tournament was held on 13 – 15 October 2018 at IPG Kampus Ilmu Khas, Cheras.

Team IIUM A emerged as the overall Champion while IIUM B reached the semifinal round of the competition. Sr. Nur Syafiqah from team IIUM A was also chosen as the Best Speaker of the Grand Final.  The details of the students are as follows:

IIUM A: (Champion)

1. Nur Syafiqah binti Mohd Paris (KENMS) - Best Speaker of the Grand Final

2. Amer Hazem Bin Haron (AIKOL) - 3rd Overall Best Speaker of the Tournament

IIUM B: (Semi-finalist)

1. Abdul Rahman Bin Zakaria (AIKOL)

2. Ahmad Muzakkir Bin Muhamed Zamri (KIRKHS)

IIUM C: (Pre-quarter finalist)

1. Ajwad Shauqi Bin Ramlee (AIKOL)

2. Nurul Hibbah binti Abd Khalid (AIKOL) - 2nd Overall Best Speaker of the Tournament
